Die Mitglieder der Wählergruppe Bürger für Vorpommern-Rügen (BVR) üben am heutigen Tage massive Kritik an der Sperrung des Rügenzubringers (B96) zwischen Stralsund und der A20 aus. Hierzu stellt der stellvertretende Vorsitzende der Wählergemeinschaft BVR, Mathias Löttge fest: „dass das Straßenbauamt Stralsund es wieder einmal an der notwendigen Sensibilität bei Straßenbaumaßnahmen und damit verbundenen Sperrungen von wichtigen Erschließungsstraßen fehlen lässt.“ Damit handelt das Straßenbauamt eindeutig gegen wirtschaftliche und touristische Interessen. Insbesondere Sperrungen wie die des Rügenzubringers in den Monaten Mai, Juni, Juli sind aus Sicht der Mitglieder der Wählergruppe BVR absolut inakzeptabel. Auch vom Landrat des Landkreises Vorpommern-Rügen Herrn Dr. Kerth würden wir, so Löttge, eine wesentlich kritischere Haltung und ein größeres Engagement zur Verhinderung solcher Sperrmaßnahmen erwarten.
Die Mitglieder der Wählergruppe BVR werden im Falle ihrer Wahl, im Rahmen der Kommunalwahl am 09.06.2024, im Kreistag Vorpommern-Rügen darauf Einfluss nehmen, dass mit solchen Sperrmaßnahmen wesentlich sensibler umgegangen wird und mehr Rücksicht auf die wirtschaftlichen Interessen der Region genommen wird.
